Meditations

The work "Meditations" is part of the project Lenin's last journeyThe sculpture is not a representation of the Jesuit saint, but of Vladimir Lenin, a plastic research about the sculpture of San Ignacio de Loyola located in the front of the Church of Cristo Rey in Pasto - Nariño, which is said to be not the representation of the Jesuit saint, but of Vladimir Lenin.  

For the development of this piece, a bust of the Saint was commissioned to a recognized master of the Black and White Carnival, Andrés Barrera, who using current techniques for the production of floats, gives us a free version of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, which we intervene with a video projection, causing a state of confusion between the revolutionary discourse and the singing of the Jesuit hymn.
